Fourth Annual Volunteer Days September 27-28, 2024

The Camp Blount Historic Site Association will welcome visitors to the annual Volunteer Days living history event in September. Students from local schools will visit the grounds on Friday, September 27, while Saturday, September 28 will be reserved for the general public from 9 AM to 4 PM. 

Volunteer Days is a free and open event that serves to educate visitors on not only the history of Camp Blount but also life in frontier America. Visitors will enjoy numerous historical demonstrations, period music, speakers, cannon/gun firing, and much more. A food truck will be onsite during Saturday's public events.
